001 The Body Column: And so it begins
Why understanding your body changes everything
And so it begins.
For 18 years, I’ve wanted to help women understand their bodies — and take control of their health.
During that time, I questioned myself. I studied more. Gained more qualifications. Worked with more clients. Sharpened my understanding quietly, often in the background.
And while I did that, I watched younger, hungrier — sometimes more confident, sometimes more naïve — voices take up space online. I hesitated. I waited. I told myself I needed to know more first.
Was I bitter? That’s a strong word.
Maybe more frustrated with myself — and at the same time, proud. Proud that integrity mattered more to me than noise. Proud that I chose depth over speed.
What I’ve observed, after years of watching the health space explode with advice, trends, and certainty, is this:
When it comes to the body, the fundamentals don’t change.
What does change is the individual. Her history. Her stress. Her environment. Her season of life. And mastering the basics for your body, at this moment in time — that’s the real work.
The greatest joy I’ve had, guiding thousands of women now, isn’t in protocols or plans. It’s in connecting the dots. Helping someone see their body differently. Watching confusion turn into clarity. Fear into confidence.
And over time, they become the woman they always wanted to be — whether that means feeling strong and athletic, or simply symptom-free enough to fully show up for their life, their family, their work.
My mission has always been the same:
To help women understand their bodies so their health supports their life — not limits it.
So here we go.
I’ll probably always have a complicated relationship with social media. But writing — this feels like home.
A place where I can share what I know, with depth, honesty, and respect for the body’s intelligence.
Welcome to The Body Column.
